- Real companies like yours. Up to 12 companies matched on sector, country or region, and size, each with a short summary of what they did with carbon credits.
- Every fact with its source. Credit types, project types, volumes, targets and how they talk about it, only where a public source says so, with the date we checked it.
- Patterns and next steps. What the companies in your sector have in common, what that means for your plan, and where to go next.
How we match
- Same sector counts most. When we have few companies in your sector, related sectors fill the list, and the card says so.
- Then country (or else region), and then size: the same size band, or the one next to it.
- If a company has said publicly why it buys credits and that matches your main reason, it ranks a little higher.
- Patterns are counted over all companies in your sector in our set, not only the cards you see. With fewer than 10 companies we show counts, not percentages.
- There is no score for any company and no AI: the same answers always give the same list.
Method and sources
- Every company in this benchmark was researched by hand from public information: its own reports and website, public carbon registries and the SBTi target dashboard. We only show facts we found a source for, and every card lists its sources with the date we checked them.
- We include companies active in Europe with public evidence of carbon credit use, or a public decision not to use them, from the last 24 months.
- Dataset last updated on 30 October 2026.
FAQ
Where does the data come from?
From each company's own reports and website and from public carbon registries. We check every fact by hand and show the source and date.
Are these Regreener clients?
Not necessarily. We include companies based on public information. Where a company is a Regreener client and agreed to be shown, we say so.
Do you rate these companies?
No. We describe what they did. We don't judge the quality of their credits or their claims.

Is my data stored?
Your answers are choices from fixed lists, never free text. We store your name, work email and those choices (sector, country, size, buying stage, main reason) with a summary of the match, so a Climate Strategist can follow up if you ask.
