How the Quote Comparer works

What you get

  • One basis for every offer. Prices in other currencies, fees and different volumes become one all-in price per tonne in EUR and a cost for the volume you need.
  • Questions to ask. Each offer gets its points to check, written as questions for the supplier, not verdicts.
  • A counter-offer if you want one. Ask Regreener for a counter-offer within 48 hours on working days.

How we compare

  • Price in EUR = price per tonne × your exchange rate (1 for EUR offers).
  • All-in price per tonne = price in EUR + other costs ÷ volume offered.
  • Cost for your volume = all-in price × the part of your need the offer covers. A larger offer is priced for your volume only.
  • Offers stay in the order you entered them. Nothing is ranked or scored.
  • Prices are entered excluding VAT.

The low-price check compares the all-in price with the low end of public market prices for the credit type. Only unusually low prices raise a question: a higher price says nothing about quality. Mixed portfolios are not checked.

Points to check

  • This price is unusually low for this credit type. Ask what makes it possible, and check the project's quality.
  • These credits are more than 7 years old. Ask why they are still available and whether that fits your claims.
  • Ask for the registry project ID, so you can look the project up yourself.
  • Ask which standard certifies these credits.
  • Ask whether the credits will be retired in your name, and when you get the retirement evidence.
  • Ask the supplier to confirm there are no other costs.
  • Delivery is later than the year you need the credits.

Notes

  • These credits are not issued yet. Ask what happens if delivery fails.
  • When an offer covers only part of your volume, the comparison shows the share it covers.
  • Mixed portfolio: ask for the split per project. The low-price check is skipped.

FAQ

Do I need to tell you who sent the offers?

No. We never ask for supplier names. Each offer has a label you choose, such as "Offer A".

Is my data stored?

Your offers stay in your browser: labels, project IDs and individual prices are never sent to us. We store your name, work email and a summary of the comparison (number of offers, credit types, the volume and year you need, the lowest all-in price and the number of points to check), so we can follow up if you ask for a counter-offer.

Why don't you rank the offers?

Price alone does not show quality, and offers of different credit types are not like for like. The comparison puts every offer on the same basis and lists the questions to ask, so you can decide.

What is a counter-offer?

Regreener's own offer for the same need, sent within 48 hours on working days. You get in touch through our contact form and decide which offer details to share.

This comparison is based on the information you entered. It is not a quality rating or advice on which offer to choose. Price ranges are public market price ranges as of 2 October 2026 and are used only to spot unusually low prices.
